Promoting a blog is quite different from promoting a static website, the differences often benefit the blog owner because this publishing platform offers a lot more options when it is compared to traditional content management system or a manually updated page. TrackBack’s are considered by many the ultimate one-way link, these are created when you post a comment on your blog in regards to another, the blogger who created the original post will receive what is called a TrackBack, if it is accepted the blogger who blogged about the original blog will get a reciprocal link otherwise original site will only get a one-way link.
